Experienced Deckhand

60m+ Private Motor Yacht

We are seeking an experienced Deckhand to join a 60m Expedition vessel cruising the local area.

This is not your typical milk run. The vessel is heavily involved in ocean research and marine conservation, offering a unique opportunity for someone passionate about the ocean and looking to gain experience outside of a traditional yacht program.

The owner has a strong interest in fishing and diving, so candidates who share these interests would be particularly well suited to the role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1–2 years’ yacht experience
• Yachtmaster in hand – essential
• A genuine interest in fishing, diving and the marine environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in a varied program

Package:

• Start: Mid-September
• Salary: $3,500–$3,800 USD
• Leave: 60 days
• Yachtmaster: Essential
