The Best Yacht Events this Season – Where We’ll Be and How to Find Us

As the Yachting season rapidly approaches, there are a number of events you won’t want to miss. Featuring the finest yachts the world has to offer, from Sports cruisers to Express Yachts to Tri-deck and mega yachts, these events will have everything you need, and in some beautiful locations too.

Here is the complete list of the best yacht events that the wilsonhalligan team will be attending over the course of this yachting season:

 

Southampton Boat Show

When: 15th-24th September 2017

One of the biggest in Europe and the largest of its type in the UK, the on-water Southampton Boat Show attracts over 110,000 visitors annually and attracts high net worth individuals from the UK and around the world.

We will be around on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st and are more than happy to meet and have a chat over a coffee, just let us know! If you’re a UK resident or are willing to travel, this 10 day yachting event is definitely not one to miss.

 

Monaco Yacht Show

When: 26th-30th September 2017

Every year, the Monaco Yacht Show hosts over 120 outstanding one-off superyachts, built by some of the most respected shipyards in the world, as well as 580 industry leading companies with a wide range of offerings.

This September, the yachting industry will be exclusively focused on the Monaco Yacht Show where 45 new launches will make their worldwide debut.

The team will be on hand to offer careers advise, or to help you source the best crew for your yacht. You can find us in the PRIVA Lounge in the L’Ete Restaurant (formally The Black Legend Restaurant).

 

METS (Superyacht Forum)

When: 14th-16th November 2017

Drawing on 25 years of experience, the themes that will be covered over the course of the exhibition this year will include yachting business, fleet, buying, ownership, operations, technology and design.

This exhibition is a great opportunity to learn more about the industry and network with a wide range of other yachting enthusiasts with different roles within the industry. La Ciotat (ACREW)

When: 29th-30th November 2017

Based in La Ciotat, France, this November the ACREW team have organised a Compositework workshop event for yachting industry members. The event will feature a range of items, including workshops, food, Q&A’s, lunches for crew, pub quizzes, and career consultations. For more information please visit the ACREW website.

Antigua Charter Yacht Show

When: 4th-10th December 2017

This year’s 4-day show takes place at the beautiful Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina both located in Falmouth Harbour. Similar to some of the other exhibitions, the Antigua Charter Yacht show boasts beautiful scenery whilst you browse the various yachts and exhibition stands.

Although we will not be exhibiting at the show, our team will be in attendance to explore what the exhibition has to offer and network with various owners and industry members. Feel free to contact Liam@wilsonhalligan.com to arrange a meeting.
