Well as the summer holidays are in full swing and the smell of suntan lotion is inescapable, we are gearing up for a busy season in training. Now that the owners of private jets are away on their yachts, the pilots can fit in their recurrent safety training.
However, there is always the chance that a last-minute meeting will see them need to fly off at a moment’s notice – and often interior crew have been asked to assist on the owners jet for the short trip. This makes sense as the interior crew have a close rapport with the owner and the family, and they also know their preferences in great detail.
TAG Aviation have devised a half-day interactive training course for interior crew to gain aviation knowledge and practical training to assist pilots with any onboard emergency and how to keep themselves safe- after all, a private jet with less than 19 seats does not legally need to have trained cabin crew onboard and most don’t!
