Liam Dobbin has a commercial shipping background, with experience on a 95m MY. After his successful career at sea he settled into wilsonhalligan in 2010 as Recruitment Manager, becoming Managing Director in 2015. Having been at sea himself, he is able to understand clients’ requirements for the right experience and correct qualifications. This enables him to nominate candidates professionally; in an honest and balanced view. Liam now specialises in Captains, senior Deck Officers, ETO’s and shore based positions.
Nicola Morgan left university in 2008 with a degree in Psychology, she soon after found herself in Monaco, working on her first yacht, MY Zenobia. She worked her way up to Chief Stewardess on the iconic MY Alfa Nero, and after previously working for wilsonhalligan, returned in 2015 as Director and Recruitment Manager, with an aim to carry on the success of the company and build on the exceptional reputation it had already gained.

Louise Forster began her career on the water teaching sailing on dinghies and quickly worked her way into the super yacht industry, working on some of the largest yachts in the world, both on deck and in the interior. Her knowledge in both areas, as well as her recruitment training gives her a rounded and professional approach to finding the best candidates for our clients, as well as providing support and advice to any deck crew seeking a career or new challenge in the yachting world. Louise specialises in 2nd Officer, 3rd Officer, Bosun and Deckhand positions.
Nikki Anderson was raised in Southampton by seafaring parents, so it was no surprise that Nikki was drawn to a life on the water. She spent 14 years aboard various sail and motor yachts up to 60 meters, holding positions as both Chief Stewardess and Chef worldwide. Nikki moved ashore in 2015 but still has a real passion for the super yacht industry – her wealth of knowledge and experience helps enable her to identify the key skills and attributes of candidates that will most benefit our clients.
Jennifer Shillitoe started her life at sea over 13 years ago working on the cross channel ferries out of Portsmouth. She joined the super yacht industry in 2006 where she worked on both sail and motor yachts, working her way up to Chief Stewardess. Her yacht experience has ranged from 24m to 73m, working in various areas worldwide. Jen is excited to use her experience and knowledge to help those who are entering the industry, and those advancing their careers within the interior of the yachts
With a degree in Sports Sciences and qualifications as a Personal Trainer and Masseuse, Michelle began her career as a Stewardess/PT/Masseuse in 2009. Quickly learning the ropes on board, she gained experience in a variety of other roles and worked her way up to Chief Stewardess on-board motor yachts ranging from 30m-62m. Back on land since 2014, Michelle is passionate about helping other individuals excel in their yachting careers and aims to draw on her variety of experiences to achieve this
A maritime and yachting professional with over 15 years experience, Matt studied Marine Engineering and Yacht Design at Southampton College before qualifying as a professional seafarer. Now reading Maritime Operations at Plymouth University, he draws on vast experience from the yachting, commercial, maritime, offshore and governance sectors, having notably worked for HM Coastguard, the British Antarctic Survey and international offshore drilling contractors previously. Matt is proud to offer our clients his industry experience and authenticity as wilsonhalligan’s Engineering Recruiter.
Originally qualifying in Business Administration, Paige has continued on to become an experienced Administrator in both the private and public sectors. Previous roles have allowed her to incorporate marketing skills, and she quickly learnt that marketing is where her ardour really lies. Paige is excited to utilise these skills working for wilsonhalligan, in order to provide excellent service for both clients and candidates alike.
Megan Vickers was raised around the River Hamble, with a family history of working at sea. Moving out of a career in retail, Megan has a keen eye for detail and a knowledge of great customer service. With friends and family on board superyachts, she is well aware of the roles and challenges of the yachting world, which she hopes will make her well placed to recruit for Deckhand positions.
