Company Update
A few changes have taken place within wilsonhalligan recently with regard to both company personnel and structure.
At the end of June, we were sad to say goodbye to Ed Hamilton. Ed has been with us for 2½ years and has been a great asset to wilsonhallign. Ed has left Hamble to start a life in Oxford; while we all miss his presence, we all wish him well in his new ventures
Fortunately, we have been successful in filling Ed’s role, very quickly, with Edward Cox. Ed will be continuing with the placement of Deck ratings. Ed is a keen sailor and has also had first hand experience as a deckhand onboard a 40+m yacht. We are all looking forward to a long and happy working relationship with him.
wilsonhalligan has also been fortunate enough to have engaged Liam Dobbin. Liam sailed as 2nd Officer with Maersk before joining us. He has already proved a great potential asset and ambassador for the company. Liam is assisting Terry in the recruitment of Deck and Engineering Officers and is the Recruitment Manger for wilsonhalligan.
John Luckhurst now holds the position of Operations Manager for the company. John will continue to recruit interior staff alongside his operational duties.

In 2006 “wilsonhalligan” was formed combining the resources of Terry Wilson and Jim and Linda Halligan to provide a professional and personal recruitment service for the Owners, Managers and Captains of large private and chartered yachts.

Terry Wilson As one of the founders and a Director, Terry is at the forefront of the company, overseeing the day to day recruitment activities on behalf of our clients.
Terry has been actively employed in human resource management and recruitment within the marine industry throughout his working life, covering both seagoing and shore-based positions. During his career Terry qualified in personality profiling, psychometric testing and a variety of interview techniques.
